Making a Safe assessment

See how to complete an online Safe assessment, directly within HubWorks.

Fast facts -article summary.

The Safe approach:

  1. Complete a Safe assessment
  2. Risk prediction rating auto calculated
  3. Assessment and prediction reviewed by a Case Review Specialist
  4. Reporting dashboard identifies geographic “hot spots” for proactive planning

You can find the Safe Assessment on HubWorks by opening a child's enrolment and going to the Safe tab.

You should then work through the list of questions and then one of our Safe team will be in touch.

Please note: Safe is not a replacement for mandatory reporting; you are still obliged to make mandatory reports where appropriate. Safe is an 'as well as' tool to help support services supporting children and families at the early intervention stage. The Safe assessment report and feedback provided by the Safe team can also assist where additional information is required for mandatory reports that have been made.
