We got you! feedAustralia is inbuilt with a nutritional database that includes more than 200 healthy recipes and more than 2,000 ingredients with established energy, macronutrient profiles and serve size recommendations. The recipes are easy to prepare and make use of readily available and seasonal ingredients.
feedAustralia provides a rather nifty feature - a real time assessment of your planned menus against:
- nutrient, energy and serving size data
- compliance per child based on food combinations
- Adherence with Australian Dietary Guidelines or child dietary needs (e.g. food allergies or food intolerances)

Yes! You have complete creative freedom when using feedAustralia. You can create your own menus from scratch or edit any of the 200+ inbuilt recipes to create your own unique variation on them.
Absolutely - every recipe provided within feedAustralia adheres with Australian Dietary Guidelines. If you choose to create your own recipes or edit our existing recipes, you will also receive real time notifications if any of your recipes fall outside of Australia’s dietary guidelines.
Yes - In fact feedAustralia can assist your service in exceeding the childcare NQF for Quality area 2.1 (Health). According to the Q2 2022 NQF snapshot 2.1. (Health) is the 5th lowest ranked element of the 2018 childcare NQF, based on the proportion of services that do not meet this element.
All services and Family Day Care Educators currently accessing either HubWorks! or Educate via the HubHello platform get free access to feedAustralia.
feedAustralia is a paid program with a nominal fee to support the future growth and to support its users. Pricing for single service providers (Centre Based Day Care, Registered Care, Outside School Hours Care) is $1 per child/per year based on the approved number of children listed within the services Service Approval form. The minimum cost is $20 for those services that are approved for under 20 children or those services that are not yet approved but planning on doing so soon. FDC Educators are charged a flat rate of $20 per annum for full use of the program and there is no need for them to upload a service approval form. All costs quoted exclude GST.
